Grace D. Palmer is a professional writer and illustrator living in Milwaukee, WI.
Originally from West Virginia, she came to the Land of the Flat to attend college, and has not yet escaped. She lives in a small studio apartment with a variable number of pet rats, makes her own clothing,
and has a bachelor's degree in studio art and creative writing from Beloit College.
Her favorite color changes by the day, her favorite foods are all cheese and chocolate based, and hobbies include reenacting life in Early Modern Germany, talking to excess, and bricolage.

Preferred substrates include Claybord, watercolor paper, illustration board and Bristol plate. Some of the biggest inspirations for these works include 19th century realist paintings, Art Nouveau linework,and the oil and tempera paintings of the sixteenth century Northern Renaissance.
